![]() The effects, sounds, and models for the launcher and catchers are still included in Aperture Tag, but are unused. Included in the original BEEMOD were the High Energy Pellets from Portal and Half-Life 2. Of note however is that these items were not fully removed - they were only hidden from the palette, and remain fully functional when opening existing Portal 2 maps which include them. As a result of the editor's limited palette space, some of the items from the original mod had to be removed, causing them to go unused. Portal 2 mod Aperture Tag replaces the portal gun with a device. To get the Paint Gun and Paint Gun Activation Fields working in Aperture Tag's version of the puzzle maker, the developers turned to the creators of the Portal 2 puzzle maker mod "BEEMOD". Game mods are traditionally free, but the fan-made Portal 2 mod Aperture Tag comes with a 7 price tag. This map cannot be compiled due to a lack of walls, and would presumably be used as an instance inserted into another map. The models are missing by default, but will appear correctly if the content is mounted onto Portal 2. ![]() ![]() ![]() The map contains nothing but a desk covered in prop_statics, using models from Half-Life 2. Its based on the original Portal 2 but with a very new game mechanic and 27 new game levels and also a new storyline. Unknown what exactly this was going to be used for.
